The Knutsford Makers Market

On my recent move into #CheshireLife, my new town of Knutsford has introduced me to the fabulous Makers Market which is held monthly.

First things first, the sun was out so an ice cream’s a great shout.

Ice Cream Creations:
Walking through the endless lanes led to more gourmet, creative & artistic stalls. But let me share my most favourite stops for free nibbles – Cheese!

Here’s an Irish whisky & ginger stem cheese, gourmet cheese and the less common sticky toffee cheese, which surprisingly works really well…Another local one – Burt’s Cheese:I found it great as the tastiest cheese here didn’t even have a name yet – that’s how homemade they are guys! So lets just call it “percy” for now.

And here below was a fantastic creamy cheese from Switzerland;

Each corner is endlessly filled with rows of unique companies making their living in the wonderful world of food…

#pesto #hotchilli #tarts

A great next stop at Granny Mary’s Meat stand 🙂

The guys on this gave out lots of their pate on broken up bread – delicious!

Powell’s Pies:

And the master butchers continues with more bite size meaty pies.

A quick juice to wash down these food tasters…

Loved these girls giving out the Apple juice! And the greek olive oil & crackers on the stall next to it.

Now lets end on dessert – something sweet to finish off the market 😉

Firstly Mummy Bakes to kick start a more healthy way of cake eating.

And ending on a sugar high with Alex’s Bakery:

Knutsford Market – can’t wait for the next one!
