Victors, Hale

Well this restaurant was far too fancy to turn up to last minute!

On a Sunday evening my friends and I were debating where to go for food, and ended up at Victors in the luxury town of Hale as we had heard great things about this place.

To set the scene, it’s basically a very chic restaurant with exposed ceiling beams and designer lighting, for modern international cuisine 👌

Not only were the positive recommendations true, the decor was outstanding and the food could almost be classed as Michelin – quite small portions which really put each dish on a high pedestal but left us wanting more.

The candle-lit mood was set and the entrance gave an instant welcoming feeling. Not to mention the menu options revealed on the side of the wall…

A couple pornstar martinis on arrival and we were then seated at our table with the cool jungle-styled ceiling, which greatly contrasted with the very modern cuisine setting and worked very well.

The recommended house Red was also delicious which was nice to get through whilst deciding on our main. The Crab linguine had got to be tried and as you can see, the portion sizes made me think “Michelin”, but my tummy was crying out for more…

So of course we had room for a sticky toffee pudding!!

Delicious!

It was a perfect venue to catch up as 3 couples reminiscing about our recent Portugal trip, and cannot wait to go back for another romantic and super tasty meal 👌
