The Refinery

Looking for an affordable, chic & informal brunch place in Manchester?

Look no further! My search in the city came to a climax for my 28th birthday just gone, as I found the perfect food spot in the heart of bustling Spinningfields, housing The Refinery Bar & Restaurant.

Serving food featuring varied international influences, The Refinery includes a crafted seasonal menu, quirky cocktails and fine wines; but most importantly, bottomless brunch for celebrating special occasions.

Priced at £15 pp you can receive bottomless drinks for a 2 hour period, which includes endless bellini’s, prosecco and Bloody Mary cocktails! To qualify for this bottomless brunch offer, we had to select a dish for £8+ from the menu so you’re looking at £25+ pp which we all found highly affordable in a fancy setting.

I went for the fish pie which was a popular choice in the group; this hearty dish was served in a cheddar potato crust. There’s also a wide variety of burgers & sandwiches, fries & sides, roast dinners and many many more.

With a table of 14 of us, the service was incredible and all waitresses were hot on keeping our drinks constantly topped up so we really felt as if we got our money’s worth.

As a surprise, they even made me a birthday brownie which was a lovely extra touch to the day out.

After considerable research I found this place to be perfect venue and location for a well-priced birthday brunch to kick-start turning 28 in style.

Delicious food, stylish setting and highly accommodating service throughout our two hour time slot. I will definitely be returning for trialing out the lunch and dinner menus.
